Well there are many songs in this world that pertain to my life i supose, but when i think of theme songs i think of the sound of a song not nessecarily the words. Anyways the sound of a song is one of the main points, it is what first hooks you to a song, the sound makes you feel good you can relate to the somberness or happiness of it. Yes the words are important but most songs are about love and seeing as how i dont feel like i have the experiences in life needed to understand what true love is, besides family, i dont really feel like i can relate to most of the songs, at least not to a level i feel like sharing with my classmates (no offense classmates.)
So i will say how the sounds of a song relate to me and make me feel.

Madly by Tristan Prettyman
This song starts out with a kind off repeatative calm beat, then it adds a guitar and various other instruments. Her voice raises then brings it to a soothing voice. Up then down, just like the beat to the song, not really a beat but more a symphony of wonderful instruments and vocal talents. What she says gives validity to what she is saying and helps with the mood and feeling of the song. This song gives me a feeling of calmness with a slight uppitty beat. I like listening to this song in the morning, its a type of wake up and see what the day brings you type of song.

Just want you to know by the Backstreet Boys (you know they rock)
This is the type of song that you know all of the words to and love even though its so 90's. It's sound and mix of vocal ups and downs gives you energy even though its kind of a sad song. Its like a flash back of my younger years rocking out in the living room blasting the Backstreet Boys, Brittany Spears, and NSYNC.

Ain't no other man by Christina Aguilera
The beginning to the song gives a moulin rouge type of feeling, then Christina blasts out singing in a wonderous grateful voice. As she tells her story singing it gives umph to the song as well as the strong beat. This song is a good walking theme music, like pink panther status (almost...maybe)

Dear Jacey in 6th grade,
I am writing you this letter so you can prepare yourself for what is about to come. Right now you are going through the same old girl group bull shit, just know that it does get better and you going through this now will help you understand more about how the world works when you are older, and you will be able to help Alyssa(little sister for those of you who don't know) when she gets to this point in her life. It's tough but you work through it and are in a much better place by the end of 7th grade.
Speaking of 7th grade during this year Dad dies. As you know he is sick now, but you should do as much as you can with him and try to create as many memories as humanly possible, because after a while the memories will fade away. This death is extremely tough on you, Mom, Aly, and Tommy but just know that this makes you guys a closer family in the long run. You become even more responsible when this happens which you shouldn't look upon as a bad thing. This is what makes you, you and you now in 10th grade are a pretty decent person(in my opinion.lol.)Lexie also dies this year, she gets an uncureable cancerous blob in her belly. Even though you all will miss her a lot you and our family end up fostering tons of dogs because of this and have a great time doing it.
I hope you don't freak out when you read this, just know you make it through okay. I reccomend video taping the hell out of life for the next year so you can remember the fun times with Dad. Home videos will bring great comfort to you, Mom, Aly, and Tommy when you miss Dad(ones with him in it of course), it's almost like he's still there when you watch them.
Love,
Jacey in 10th grade

30 Days of Night--

The film 30 Days of Night, copied from the novel, tells a story of the northern most city in Alaska called Barrows. During the winter Barrows, Alaska goes a full 30 days without any light, a perfect place for vampires to live right? Well in this film a horrifyingly grafic group of vampires are led to the small town of Barrows in which they start to feed on the helpless town. Ben Foster plays a stranger who leads the vampires into town for reasons not specified, but it seems that the vampires have a type of deal with him that goes like, " if you find us a city to eat we wont eat you" even though they do end up eating him, as well as everyone else. The 30 days of night are dark and cold which adds an erieness beyond the original erieness of hiding from vampires. Refreshingly enough these charecters actually have depth to them. The charecters develop as the movie goes on as well. There is Josh Harnett who plays Eben Olson, sheriff of the town who seems to hold the weight of the world on his shoulders throughout the whole movie. His ex-wife Stella played by Melissa George portrays her charecter well as a woman trying to leave town due to a nasty break up in which she is furious with Eben, but holds it together, and towards the middle of the movie they begin to let their feelings aside and they rekindle their relationship for what it once was. One of the best parts of this movie is it's, for the most part, realistic(besides the whole vampire thing). Usually, in a movie envolving two charecters previously in love but now they have fallen asunder but bond over their fright and desprateness, hook up. Refreshingly enough these two people don't, I can't explain to you how agravating it is when two charecters start making out which leads to "other" things while their lives are in danger, how realistic is that?
The movie does get a bit repeatative after a while with the whole blood sucking thing, but over all I will give this movie an 8 out of 10.

I once did a blog for Ferris Bueller's Day Off in like 7th or 8th grade, it was in the beginning when he is getting ready to act sick and stay home, it went something like, "the key to phony symptoms is the clamy hands..." Maybe??? I really don't remember it all that well, but I did hella good at the time.

Anyways, My Ferris Buellers Day Off would go something like this...
I wake up and act ill on a day when my mom is out doing business calls or is in a meeting with her boss or something. After she left I drive over(i am taking liberty of giving myself a drivers license) to my friend Josie's house around 9:30ish who instead of being depressed like Ferris Bueller's bestie is she will be faking sick just like me. After that we drive to Union Square in San Fransico and go into the Macy's building. We go to the top floor and have lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, we sit outside on the terrace/converted roof thingie and throw croutons from our salad and ice chips from our drink to the passer-by's down below on the street. We pay for our meals and get the car and go to Fisherman's Warf, we rent segways at the segway rentie place and segway around Fisherman's Warf. We segway to pier 39 and explore around there for awhile and get unicorn lolipop. We go onto the other piers, through the old army barrack's and up and down grassy hills. After this we decide to segway up to Ghiradhelli Square and get hot chocolate's. It's around 3 now so we have to head home before our parents get there; I take Josie home, and I go and get back in bed.
By the way mr. teddie barone wasn't looking for me in my house getting chased by my rottweiler while i was in SF having fun, as happens in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Mainly because Mr. Barone is too busy taking peoples skate boards away, and patrolling the dangerous streets of AHS with his walkie talkie to notice my absence. Plus the fact that i dont have a rottweiler, although i wouldn't mind having one.

okay so this picture is pretty cool. I didnt even realize what was different about it until Mr. Ross told me. My first thought was that maybe the author was trying to convey his life at the time, maybe he felt like the world was passing him by as he was stuck in the dark, in a depression or confusion. Possibly he was trying to say that while there are sunny days people are left ignorant, in a set of dark so to speak. Maybe he just wanted it to look super cool. Because it is a nice house maybe Magritte is trying to say that rich people live in a world different and more priviledged than normal society. If that was what he was trying to convey why did he put them in the dark and the rest of the world in the light? Is that a statment within a statement? Is he saying that although they live a privelegded life, are they actually sad and lonely? Or are they so ignorantly priviledged that they have no idea what is going on in the world, and that in itself would make us not so priveledged more priveleged. Wow I am way over analyzing but you never know... Quite possibly he is leaving it up to ones own interpretation, for a depressed person they might say wow this is how I feel. Or the more deep thinkers might analyze this as being a portrait of the world and how it works, etc.

dreaming...

My dream life, well for starters I would love to go to a good college. Preferably closer to home, possibly UCSB or UCSD? What ever college I got into I would love to do a year abroad. I would love to do it in England. That's where my parents met and it is really pretty over there. I absolutely love the old english houses and cottages. I am not positive what I want to be when I grow up, but so far I like the idea of being a psychologist or a historian. I find the studies of the human mind intriguing, and I feel the same way about history. I would love to have a well paying, yet flexible job in one of those fields, as of now.
As for the people I would be with, I would love to still have a great relationship with my mom. As for a husband, I hope that when I get to that point in my life his is caring as well as intelligent. I would love to get married younger than most. When I have finished my college degree as well as whom ever I marry, I would then want to get married once we both are in a secure job. Depending on how long my schooling takes this could be anywhere from 21 (keep in mind I am a year younger than all of you there for that is a 4 year college) to 27. I would then want to be able to travel with him all over the world before we have kids (if we have kids).
I don't wish to have kids until I am into my 30's it is my personal opinon and experience that it is better to wait to have kids until you are older and more responsible.
I am not even sure if I want to have kids yet. If I were to have kids I might consider adopting a child. There are so many kids out there without a home, I would love to help a few. Maybe me and my husband will be the next Angelina and Brad Pitt, (or maybe I will just marry Brad myself after he breaks up with Angelina). If I do have kids I would debate between having 2 or like 5+. If I had more than two I definately would like two or three of them to be adoptees. Now that I think about it that sounds torturous to have that many kids. O well I guess we will have to see how it goes.
I would love to have a large home, but not so large that space isn't utilized. Right now I have a fairly large house compared to Albany standards, but every room is utilized so it isn't as if I am wasting space. I would like to have that type of house, but a few extra bedrooms for guests and such. I would love to keep my current house in the future and buy it from my mom when the time comes around. If I were to buy my current house I would want to ad a story to it. The things I like most about my house are the view of the bay and that we are surrounded by are yard on all sides. In the event that I don't live in this house when I am older I would want a large house with a nice view whether it be of the bay or of hills, grassy fields, gardens, etc. I would want two houses for sure. One in America, in California and one in the country side of England. I would live in America during the school year for my kids, and go to England in the summer. Our English home would be in the country side like I said before. It would be a functional rustic cottagish home. Many fire places, gardens, wild flowers, grassy hills. For those of you who have seen the movie, "Holiday", I would want a house like Kate Winslets except for way bigger. I supose if I lived in the Bay Area I would want a house in the Berkelely Hills, the houses up there have so much charecter, they are all unique, but I don't like how cramped it is up there so I would hope to find and buy a vacant lot next to my house. I would landscape this lot with tons of wild flowers and a few trees to provide adequate privacy from my neighboors and passer-by's on the street. I would have a lot of dogs, Preferably medium and large dogs, but if my small dogs(that I have now) are still around I would love to have them too. I don't really care if they are pure breed or not, but they all would have to be rescue dogs. I would like to have a Mastiff type dog, as well as a Boxer, possibly a German Shepherd(I have had one before and she was awsome). I would like to have more, but those are the main breeds I am interested in currently. Of course they would all have to be well trained, so we would accumulate these dogs one at a time. When we had our German Shepherd before she was a trained guard dog, she was very well behaved. The stereo types about bigger dogs being dangerous and scary are mainly derived from a lack of sufficent training by the owner.

ohh boy i am so tired, but i am making myself do some work :(

okay so back in the day, i had above the shoulder light blonde curly locks (my brother did too, thats why he was mistaken as my girl twin by many who did not know him.) when i was little my mom dressed me in ridiculously adorable outfits. Frilly dresses, pink skirts, the whole nine yards for a little girl such as myself. My favorite clothing item from my younger KNS(kensington nursery school)days was a dress that my mom got in amsterdam, it was a short sleeved dress with petit teddy bears on it. The back ground color to the teddies are red, puffing out of the sleeves, and at the bottom of the knee length dress were white frills. I still have this dress and its freaking adorable. :)
In kindergarten i went to a private school (Pacific Academy of Numora.) This was the year i was stripped of my identity, i wore a plaid navy blue and white jumper with a white collered button up shirt. I remember when we moved to our house in Albany, before i finished at Numora i got stuck in my jumper. i was a bit scared, being so young but my mom helped me get out of it and i was saved. I would like to note that at this time i had the cutest light blonde hair, it was past my shoulders and it was absoulutely adorable.
Then i got to first grade, i was at Vista before it merged with Macgregor to create Ocean View. I had Mrs. Marcia Umland (?) as a teacher (i dont really remember if that was her name or not but it sounds about right)I was in to sparkly jeans and velvet tops then. Pretty sad, i know. I chopped off my hair to my neck, and it was now less curly, and it was turning more to a golden blonde.
In second to fifth grade (as i recall) i blended in with everyone else, t-shirt and jeans. Not very exciting years.
In 6th grade i was into wearing bigger shirts and athletic shorts, akward tennis shoes with brightly colored socks that came up well above my ankles. I usually wore my softball jerseys. definately not a stylish year for jacey.
Not that 7th grade was much better but at least i was more on track. i wore jeans that flared a bit at the ends and paul frank type shirts.
8th grade was better but not much improvement.
So 9th grade was alright, i got more into the designer jeans and stuff.
by this year i have accumulated many clothes, but my current dilema is even though
i have tons of clothes, i can never find anything i really wanna wear.

1. Do you believe in karma?

I am not quite sure. that whole what goes around comes around thing hasn't really worked equally on my end so far, or maybe i am an immoral person, hah. so either karma isnt real or i am just not seeing the whole picture. hmm. i supose this theory might have worked in the past, but possibly human intervention has broken the cycle? in the past if a theif stole some corn from a farmer to eat, maybe karma would make the theif sick from eating the corn. but today that wouldn't happen because before the theif could eat the corn the cops would arrest the guy and return the faulty corn to the farmer. go figure.

2. What one current event in any aspect of world news do you think is being most neglected or underrepresented?

Global Warming is definately a huge problem, too many people are depending on the next person to change to a fuel efficent vehicle or change the light bulbs in their house. for instance to whom ever is reading this, have you changed a light bulb, and for those of you who are sitting at your computers snickering saying "yes i have" have you changed every single light bulb in your house? are you conciously using light? meaning do you leave your lights on when ur not in the room? prehaps i am over analysizing the situation, and no i am not claiming that i do the things i listed above but imagine if people did do that? the commercials that say if every person in california switched just ONE lightbulb in their house it would be like taking 100,000 cars off the road. imagine if everyone in california did that to all of the lights in their house? okay so i am totally ranting here, so i will stop. but fyi for those of you who think that they cant have a cfl light in their lamp cause it needs a specific amount of wattage, size, color, etc. Ace has like a whole wall of them but they are kinda hidden. they even have ones that bugs cant see made for outside lights so when u r having an outdoor party u dont get eaten alive. Ace has dimming lights, 3 way lights, lights for chandaliers, black lights, etc. okay im done now.

3. If you could have any one superpower, what would it be and why?

oh damn, i dont know. i supose that it would be pretty awsome to be able to fly, but possible just be like hella fast. it'd be pretty cool to be able to change shapes and like what you look like. okay totally to be able to change shapes. it'd be hella cool to go under cover looking like a hobo and then like change into paris hilton to get into a club or something. you could also change into a shape of a bird or something. If i were ever like trapped on a sinking ship like the titanic i could just make my self be a fish until i reach the shore of america. sweet.

4. If you could invite any 5 famous people or characters to your birthday party, who would you pick?

i am really not sure why these people are coming to mind but they are,
Oprah
Dr. Phil
Taye Diggs(hella hot)
John Travolta
and
that Angel dude from RENT

5. If you could live in any film or book, what would you select? Would you want to be one of the characters, or would you want to be you (introduced as a new character)?

rite now i am thinking shrek, yes i am just that special. i would be a new charecter. i dont know why but i just feel like it would be cool to live in a fairy tale for a while. i mean come on, wizards, talking donkeys, cute as little kittys with wee little boots, carraiges, spells, and the scenery is always so pretty. it would be AWSOME to frolic in a field. OMG i almost forgot, shrek and fionas babies are soooo cute, i supose i could be a babysitter, YES that will be my charecter. Fiona and Shreks babysitter.

6. Who of your friends would make the best president? I can't wait to know why.

i actually really do hate this question. it's so stupid (no offense mr. ross.) First of all it is hard enough to admit that i don't have friends that are president worthy (no offense friends) at least not at this point in their lives. Secondly if you are to choose a friend for some specific reason, how many friends' feelings am i hurting. maybe mr. ross is just trying to corrupt our lives so we will all be miserable and friendless. okay but if i have to choose i supose i would choose katja, yes we all know her(and mr. ross is probably shaking his head in shame right now). but shes freaking awsome. i mean maybe she wouldn't be able to run against hillary or barack but lets just say she could. i can imagine her throwing parties at the white house and inviting the queen of england to have dinner with her and katja laughing the whole time and being bubbly and stuff. okay maybe i am not choosing for the right reasons but it would still be pretty cool. (and then of course i could visit her at the white house and that would be awsome too)

7. I used to always trip out that my strawberry Chapstick tasted so strongly like strawberries (and why was I eating so much Chapstick?). Then I realized that it wasn't the taste that was strong; it was the smell. They say that smell is the strongest scent. What is your favorite smell? USE CONNOTATIONS, FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE, OR ANALOGY in your (butter) saucey answer.

umm, okay well this isn't really a specific smell, but i love it when you are walking down the street and you pass by a house or restauraunt that smells hella good and your mouth is like going crazy, "Feed me, Feed me" and all you wanna do is walk up to that house and be like, can i have some of your food? its like a dog on a chain trying to eat the mailman but his chain is two inches too short. i feel like the dog and all i want is some mailman, but i know it would be freaky if a random stranger walked up to your door and was like feeeeed meeeee. i mean i supose i could act like a hungry homeless person but i would have to rub dirt on my face and i dont want to do that, and it's quite possible that any sane person might feel threatened by a dirty hobo on their stoop and call the cops... that wouldn't work out in my favor.

8. If you could invent a new class for AHS to teach, what would it be?

it would be cool if there was a community service class where you go and build houses for kids in guatamala, or fundraise money to send to kids in guatamala, or something like that. that would be hella cool actually.

9. Identify any symbol from any film ever (pick your favorite if you can think of many from which to choose). Identify what it means and why you picked it.

i am not sure, and don't feel like spending the time contemplating this question. in class you said that we could pass on one question if we wanted to so i choose this one. PASS.

10. Will humankind still exist in 300 years?

i would like to think so but i have a sneaky suspicion that it won't. we will probably die like the dinasaurs and become a research topic for species to come. but if we are still alive we will most likely have freaky adaptations to hella hot weather and uva and uvb rays. we will probably live in trees (if any are still alive) if they dont exist any more we will probably live in holes or something wierd like that.

11. What is the most embarrassing song to ever grace your IPOD? Why was it there, may I ask?

i have had wayyy more than one. so here are a few; breaking free from high school musical, colors of the wind from pochahontas, faded by souldecision, there are plenty more as well. but the main reason they are there is because i never know what mood i will be in so i shouldn't risk being caught off guard by not having a song i wish to listen to. For instance, pochahontas is hella dope so what if its a windy day and i am like Damn i wish i had that song!

12. Corey Chin's brilliant question (and it's got me curious): How much would you charge to clean Mr. Ross' microwave?

eww. i havnt even seen the inside of that thing. but im sure its not pretty. i would charge like a million dollars. i mean my nails would get weird gunk in them and i would have to use like ten sponges. eww, i just dont think i would do it.

why of course i did

I cant believe mr ross is making me do this while i could be drinking some fabulous rose tea. i have been doing laundry all day, my grandpa made me go to the horse races today. i won 9 dollars, but i supose thats illegal so pretend u didnt hear that. errrrrrrr i am watching cars driving on the freeway out of my window and its wet and the headlights are really bright... that reminds me of a joke about a little boy... its a bit pervy though. i like that song "love song" by sara something. her last name it similar to braille or something. there are not lights on in my house rite now because i decided to save energy. but its getting dark so i light a few candles, before i started this blog. im kinda cold rite now but dont want to turn on the heat due to rising oil prices, and seeing as how i am wearing shorts and i sweatshirt, i will make my self put on more clothes before i turn on the heat. my mom will be home at seven. i have two dogs on my lap. they are small dogs. one is black, one is red and brown, they are pretty. they are 6 and 8 lbs. thats strange. i dont like small dogs, they are yappy but mine arent. i like big dogs. i used to have a german shepherd she was pretty. now i have two dogs that are one twelf of lexies size(the german shepherd), i want a puppy. most likely i will try to get one in the next couple of weeks, foster i mean. u all should try it its fun. u get to take care of cute dogs until they get annoying and then u give them back. i am tired and i need to fold a load of laundry but seeing as how i cant get up for another couple of minutes i am stuck here. i also have to pee. but cant get up. perhaps that was too much information, but in mr ross' blog he said randomness rules so i guess it does. ...oo the bay looks creepy rite now. its foggy and daark i can barely see the bulb. its quite eerie. i dont wish to see the movie the fog. i have to deal with fog to frequently and dont wish to be terrified of it. i really like that song by sara barrailles(thats the name) i have got it stuck in my head. my dog gracie the black one has a pink collar with little diamond studs, i cant believe i have turned into the type of person that likes to put studded things on dogs, as well as dresses and clothes. it's pretty lame. what ever --time to go--

I wanna love you -- akon feat. snoop dogg

These are pretty self explanatory lyrics. "I wanna F*** you, you already know" Sam Spade would like to F*** Brigid O'shaughnessy and she already knows so she is using him, and he knows that she knows and he also knows he is using her. He just can't help it because he wants her so bad. "and besides i got a thing for you" Poor Spade can help that he's basically falling for the manipulating femme fatale. "I'm sitting in the back in the smokers section" It just so happens that sam spade smokes as well. Quite a coinkydink. :p

Nelly Furtado feat. Timabaland -- Promiscuous girl
Sam Spade is in love with Brigid"How you doin’ young lady/That feelin’ that you givin’ really drives me crazy" This relates to the feeling Brigid brings to Spade.
"You might be the type if I play my cards right/I'll find out by the end of the night" When Spade first meets Brigid or "Miss Wonderly" he thinks shes cute/hot, and he knows soon enough that he will know if he she will be a friend/lover/etc. in the future, so he plays it cool. "I be the first to admit it, I’m curious about you, you seem so innocent." This quote is interesting because Brigid portrays her self as an innocent young lady when she really is a conniving not so innocent young lady.

Apologize -- Timbaland

"I'm holding on your rope,Got me ten feet off the ground" When Sam Spade is falling in love with Brigid, he feels like he is helpless, and she takes advantage of his helplessness to get what she wants. "You tell me that you need me,Then you go and cut me down" She plays the cute desperate woman who needs help then she screws him over. "I took another chance, took a fall" He doesn't really fall for women he just uses them for the obvious reasons, but now that he has taken a chance on actually liking one of them, it doesnt work out.

Money -- Pink Floyd (that song from the italian job)

"Money, get back.Im all right jack keep your hands off of my stack.Money, its a hit." Sams life revoles around getting money. The rest of it doesn't really matter, he will do anything if you have the right price tag on it. "Money, its a hit.
Dont give me that do goody good bullshit." Sam Spade doesn't need a good reason to do something, you don't have to fake that you are a good person in order for him to do something for you, just give him money. When Brigid tells him she lied about who Thursby was, he said he figured she was lying he just didn't care because the money spoke for it's self. "Money, its a crime." In this book the whole plot is based on the maltese falcon, which represents a ton of money to the person possesing it. Many crimes are commited because of the greed of the people trying to posess the maltese falcon.

Vindicated -- Dashboard Confessional

The title doesn't fit with Sam Spade, in fact Sam Spade is like an oxymoron to the word vindicated, but the song works. "Hope dangles on a string,Like slow spinning redemption" Sam leads an unfulfilling life, and doesn't have much hope. He goes to work, that basically his only passion, and even that is only fuelled by the money he gets from it. After work he goes home and drinks, occassionally accompanied by a woman. Thats it. That his life. "I am selfish, I am wrong, I am right, I swear I'm right, I swear I knew it all along." This is like the cycle of his life when he investigates a case. First he is selfish in draining a person of their money, while he is figuring out the case at first he is wrong. Then he is right. He figures it out tells people, they check out if hes right or not, he is, he tells them hes known it all along. "Just one touch and I'd be in too deep now to ever swim against the current." This refers to when he falls for Brigid, hes in love and cant get out no matter how hard he tries.

What is your favorite food?
Thats a hard one, I will have to say, pasta. Lovely pasta, I have never met someone who doesn't like pasta. Yes, I supose I could be cheating the question by choosing such a broad topic, but still it's pasta. You can have pasta with the veggies and a vinigrate cold. Or hot spaghetti and meat balls, the mother of pastas. You can simply have a tomato sauce with parmesan cheese. Farfalle, Bowties, Corkscrews, Penne, bucalini, spaghetti, fettucini, linguini, shells, wheels, egg noodles, whole grain, etc. Sooooo many types of pastas, then so many types of sauces to go on top.
Cheesy types: gorganzola, cheddar, white cheddar, 4 cheese, mozorella, basically any type of cheese you can turn into a sauce.
Meat sauces: chicken(not recomended), beef (preferably ground), sausage etc.
Tomato sauces: basically you have tomatos smash them up with spices, meat, cream, etc.
other: butter n' olive oil, butter n' lemon, pesto, vinigrettes, oils the lists are endless.
Basically pasta possiblilities are infinate. They also are basically all delicious. i love pasta, its hella good.

1. If you could be a fly on anybody's wall, on whose wall would you perch? Why? What would you do with the information?

Dr. Phil, i would like to know if he takes his own advice that he gives on his show. I would just tell my mom cause she likes that show, and then maybe i would sell the info to the tabloids for some $.

2. What is your favorite piece of art? Describe what it looks like. Why do you like it so much? How does it make you feel? Does it tell a story? Have symbolism?

Uhh okay, i dont know if its my favorite but its super nice looking. its a painting of the sierras and there is a really tall water fall and its all misty and pristine looking, there are two deer drinking at the lake at the bottom of the fall. theres a forest and hella tall mountains that have snow at the top. its so pretty. its just like youre there, thats why i like it and its hella pretty. it makes me feel relaxed. its gorgeous.

3. If you could choose your parents, how would they be? Describe how they look, act, and parent. What do they do (for work, hobbies, etc)?

i would want my mom just the way she is. shes basically perfect, except sometimes she will like "massage" your neck and upper back but the pain like sends you into oblivion. haha so i guess i would want her to be an ex massage therapist. i wouldnt want her to have to work, she would be like an inventer of something and then like sell it away and be rich. we would have like amazingly awsome cars, and we could stay at our house now but just like remodel some of our rooms and stuff. okay i am getting sidetracked. umm she would have time to do the things she likes such as ikebana, tv, shop, walk the dogs etc.

4. If you could live in any decade, which one would it be and why? ELABORATE. What opportunities would you take advantage of in said decade?

i would live in this one because its safer, (if you have a disease u dont die or dont die right away, and you can do it painlessly) but i would want to travel back to 1998 and tell my parents to buy hella real estate in albany because in a few years it will have tripled.

5. If you could/had to be any Disney character, who would it be and why?

Does that dragon dude count from mulan? he's hella tite i would wanna be him because he like saves mulan, and is her sidekick once shes famous. i could be a hella tite ancestor dude and all that. make a name for my self, niccceee.

6. There is a difference between the moral man and the criminal in that the moral man has a legitimate reason to steal. Support or refute this idea (that a person's objectively bad deeds can be justified by the subjectivity of their life).

okay im not sure i get this but, if your a moral guy, you cant steal. so if you are moral you are no longer moral if you steal thus turning you into a criminal. if your moral and you have to save your kids and wife or husband by stealing a loaf of bread i supose thats some what okay, just dont get caught. but if your in the same situation and rob some old person thats not MORAL, there for making you a bad guy.

I would invent a flying car that didn't use gas and stuff. First of all this would be super cool because you could fly around town, FLYING!!! Plus, it would be good for the enviroment because it wouldn't be using gasoline(it would be good as long as you didn't run into trees or birds.) Wouldn't you like to ride around in a flying car all day? We could make BMW's, Mercedes, Bently's, Land Rovers and Jaguars. That would be awsome! It would be like pretty cars in the air all the time. All kids believe that when they are grown up that they will own a flying car, now it can come true. Although I have no idea how a flying car that didn't use gas would be invented, I am just saying it will be someday and I will be rich, very rich. Then because I was so rich I could help people in places who need help.

1. What is your favorite book?
Gap Creek, I have always liked reading about hardships of another person’s times. This book set around the around the 1920’s to the 1940’s. The book is centered around a young woman who deals with a plague of disease that strikes her family, the new company of her sexual husband, a terrible flood, fire, and a barely there 2lbs baby she had to deliver alone by herself.
2. If you could/had to live in any country besides the United States, where would it be?
I would want to live in England simply because the climate is similar to here, I like the sound of an English accent, I am too lazy to learn another language and the country houses are freaking gorgeous.

3. Who is your favorite superhero?
Clark Kent, damn he’s hot, but I like that his powers don’t affect his relationships with his friends for the most part. In most superhero shows, the superhero can have any girl he wants but Clark loves Lana and is too afraid to tell her, it’s refreshing that his life isn’t perfect.

4. If you could change any one law, what would it be?
The Euthanasia law about dogs and cats to a certain extent, If your dog is suffering and there is no cure, then okay go for it. But if your dog isn’t behaving correctly and you want to take the easy way out, you need to deal with it, you were the idiot who didn’t train it correctly to pee outside. To the shelters who put down animals simply because there isn’t enough room for new dogs, find a different rescue place that actually cares about the welfare of the animal.

5. Is life a matter of reality or is it all just based on perception?
It is different to different people. For me I fluctuate on my opinion on this matter. It changes with different situations.

6. Is it better to be too hot or too cold?
Too cold definitely! I hate hot weather, it is disgusting, you get hot, your cheeks turn pink, and you get sweat and gross. EWW. Cold is the way to go.

7. Which is better: to get in a car accident that isn't your fault and lose a leg or to get into a car accident that is your fault and kill an old lady?
I am not sure. I don’t feel like contemplating this answer now, so PASS.

8. Do you believe that pain and suffering is a necessary part of life?
Yes, without it everyone would be spoiled, and without suffering we wouldn’t have accomplished many of the things we have today.

9. Is animal testing acceptable?
If it is for cancer research and the animal doesn’t feel much pain, I guess it’s kinda okay. If it is for mascara and blush, hell no.

10. Do you believe that ghosts exist?
I am not for sure on that but I am definitely not a skeptic. I will believe it when I see it.

11. Do you believe that you can never have too much of a good thing?
Yes, look at Paris Hilton. Enough said.

12. Do you believe that school is the best way to make a person smarter?
No, I think it contributes to the overall book smarts of a person, but honestly it usually won’t help you in the real world, working in a real job, with jerks, and overly opinionated people, etc.

13. Do you believe that Free Market Capitalism is fair? If not, what would you suggest?
I have no clue what that is and am too lazy to Google it so pass.
14. Do you believe that war can be justified?
I’m not quite sure, all I know is that no matter how justified war might be there are always innocents who end up dead, and that can never be justified.

15. If you could switch your gender, but it had to be permanent, would you?
I enjoy being a girl for reasons I do not wish to cite here.

16. Do you think you are anyone's favorite person in the world?
Why ofcourse, every one loves me including lucia.

Sure, this is cheesy, but I am really passionate about my family and my most close friends. I have an extraordinary bond with my family, I feel very fortunate to have them. My mom and I are very close to each other. We talk to each other about anything and everything. When we need someone to talk to we are there for each other. Words can't describe how much I care for her, it's cheesy but very true. It's amazing how much strength one person can provide you when you are in need. A simple hug from a person you love and care about can save you in times of struggle. Bottom line I know that she will always be there for me no matter what happens.
My brother is quirky and goofy, and can be a major pain in the ass and at times I want to stab him in the eye, but he's always there. I have a unique bond with him, we are close in age and can talk about normal things but he will surprise you when he shows his soft side. We have a commical understanding and a commical bond.  We can be joking around and no one will know what we are talking about but the only thing that matters at that moment is that we are having fun and understand exactly what we are talking about.
My sister is the youngest in the family and damn she can be a brat, but even though at times we want to rip each others heads off basically on a daily basis, she is still the baby. She will always be the cutie, and will always have that special sisterly bond with me. We rarely connect but when we do it is really special, we come toghether in times of stress and thats what family is all about.
Family is a miracle and I feel bad for those who aren't as lucky as me in having a great bond. It is ironic because right now my sister keeps calling me and my mom is screaming at me to come to dinner and I want them to shut the fuck up so I can finish this and get it over with, this frustration will probably end up in an arguement in about ten minutes but I know that even the worst arguements won't break us apart....

What animal am I? I was thinking about it earlier and was was thinking of the common kitty-cat. Well, they sleep most of the day, laying in the sun hmm sounds like what I do when I have time to. They don't like all people and are picky about who they like, but once they've bonded, they would like nothing more than to chill with that person.  I like to hang out with my closest friends outside of school. I would rather be at home relaxing, then be out with  people or being at school. I would be quite content with someone scratching my back all day, and feeding me when I meow.
I did the survey they said I would be a wolf. I agree with this some what vague description, but find it to be very true, so I suppose I shall be a wolf in stead of a kitty-cat.

 The Wolf
You are independent, strong-willed and often misunderstood. Very few people truly understand you. Your extremely attached to the significant few you love and respect. You often find your self as a loner, but you eagerly seek the comfort of your pack mates.

I am independant, I do not need others for me to do something. I am not so sure if I am misunderstood, but I only know a select few people who truely understand me. Yes, to those people I am attached, I love them and respect them. I don't find myself a loner but do enjoy the comfort of my "pack mates."

Ever since I was young I was afraid of a monster being in my closet as well as one under my bed. I didn’t really imagine what type it was: a vampire, a zombie, the boogieman, I just knew that it was in my room. If I would wake up at night from a bad dream to a dark room, I would freak out. There would be two possibilities to this unfortunate event. Either I would sit up in the very middle of my bed and scream for my mom until she came to my rescue. Or, I would stand on my bed jump off of it as close to the door as I could get (in fear of the monster under my bed) and bolt down the dark hallway to my mom’s bedroom. Today I still have some version of this fear, before I go to bed I make sure my closet is shut tight and make sure my door is secure as well. Yes, these fears of the boogieman, vampires, and zombies are irrational, but when you are a child it is your worst fear, and it does not matter how many times your parents say there is no such thing; your mind still wanders off leaving you breathless and frightened.

I heard a song on Jay Lenno by Pink, called “Dear Mr. President.” I don’t usually listen to her music, but I liked her lyrics. They are harsh, but important. Out of anyone, the President himself should listen to this song. The part of the song that I like the most, and that I feel the most strongly about is, “How do you sleep while the rest of us cry? How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?” I like this part the most because it’s so true! It is horrible to think about how many families don’t get a chance to say goodbye to their loved ones in Iraq. Especially when the military grants the family no answers on how they died because the military is trying to cover up “their bad.” Another really good part of the song is when she sings, “What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away? And what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay?” The first sentence of this part of the song is talking about abortion rights, this part make you wonder if congress and the president even think about their own lives, families, children. “ Dear Mr. President” what if your daughters were raped? Now, because of you, they had to look at their changing body for nine months and be forced remember the pain that they suffered because they couldn’t have the fetus aborted. The second part is really important because large amounts of our population are gay, lesbian, etc. if he truly believes that these people should not get the chance to marry just because they are different then he needs to open his eyes and realize love is love! I like this song because it represents most of my beliefs. It’s also representative of what is going on in our country. I want people to hear this song, so it can open their eyes to what is going on and to possibly open some peoples minds.
